History
Boissevain–Morton’s growth has been shaped by transportation, agriculture, and community resilience. Established in 1885 with the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Railway, the town became a key hub for trade and settlement. In 2015, the Town of Boissevain and the Rural Municipality of Morton merged to form the Municipality of Boissevain–Morton, ensuring long-term sustainability and economic growth.
